I wish someone would block eBay from my computer (in a way). I’ve only used it three times, but each of those times I went nuts. In the span of three minutes tonight, I bid on the l.e.i. shoes that I had and ruined (new, black instead of my beloved brown ones), a Zune 120 (which I’m sure I’ll be outbid on, thank heaven), and flat out bought a 2005 LOTR Page-a-day calendar. I loved the 2005 version; all full of gloss and greatness (unlike the 2006 which was flat and dull).
Yes, I need help. I had to buy an outdated calendar because they don’t make them anymore. Except for the day of the week, I can use it with no problem. I use the old pages as hall passes for the students, so you can see that having the calendar was an absolute MUST. Mom bought me a Harry Potter version last year, and I just don’t get the same thrill each day when I see the new picture. The 2005 version is trilogy inclusive, which means lots of Boromir. Oh, god, just think if they made a Boromir Page-a-day calendar! I’d buy 100 of them to have on reserve. Oh! This is amazing–the company I bought the calendar from was Intergalactic Trading Company; the same place I bought all my SG-1 patches for Dragon*Con…and I didn’t even realize it until after I had bought it. FATE, dammit!

I’ve let a lot go by without mentioning it on here. Now that I’ve closed ZeroMuch (well, archived it), I’ll try to write more. Rejoice.
Recently, I’ve had a mini-vacation to TN, seen Ben and Jesse, had poison ivy all over my face (second doctor’s visit in a month…yay), and waited for my grandmother’s surgery to stop giving her problems. I found a really cool Zune clock to add to HobStar (my Zune), so I’m really happy about that. I don’t wear a watch and my sorry TracFone is just not something I’m willing to whip out everytime I want to check the time. Having a clock on my Zune will be perfect because now I can watch Shaun of the Dead AND time the AP exams properly. Heh.
Television-wise, we’re gearing up for a late Summer viewing schedule which includes old Star Trek: Voyager, SGA, Project Runway, Big Brother, and Shear Genius. I’m not overly enthused with the newer shows, especially SGA. I seriously think that unless they lose Dr. Keller, my viewing days are limited. I hate that a show that has meant so much to me has brought about so much disgust, but I can’t help it; she just grates.

I’m addicted to podcasts. I’m extra-addicted to Ricky Gervais’ podcasts. I’ve looped all the ones available at the Zune Marketplace and now I’ve found there are literally hundreds more out there. Well, I found that out yesterday and today I’m syncing them to my Zune (which is now named HobStar). Even Scott likes to listen to them on the way home from work. Yay!!
Work is starting to kick up as it always does this time of year. I’m getting anxious again, what with scholarships, graduation, scheduling, etc. coming up.
Make Me A Supermodel is fun. I’m liking it. I think if I stay away from the LOST fanatics, I’ll give it another shot when it starts up in three weeks. Maybe I can find the love I had for it in Season 1 and pretend the last two seasons never really happened.
That’s it for us. Anything new out there?

You know I love Pushing Daisies. How could you not? How could I not? I just found myself stopping this week’s episode to watch another Robin Hood. I think I love this show. I’ve added a new theme (not surprisingly) to the site and I’m one episode away from starting Series Two. I finally figured out who Will reminds me of, and it’s Burt.
For anyone who knows him, check it and and you’ll see that it’s TRUE! It’s hard to tell in the new theme, but he’s the guy to the far left in the picture and now that I look again, it’s not hard to see. Yay! OK, I’m rambling.
Wrapping it up now: It snowed a bit today, which is always nice. I didn’t mention that I updated my Zune with nearly no problems because I’ve been busy playing with it! I had to hack the installer for the desktop, but it took no more than five minutes. I’m a technical genius. Yup.

This is my life and there’s (still) no Mekhi Phifer. We had three days of bomb threats at work, and other than that, not much is happening there.
Anyway, dude, I figured out why I love Pushing Daisies so much! In my car, the only thing I’ve been listening to for months now is the Harry Potter series on my Zune. Who’s the narrator? None other than Jim Dale, who is also the narrator for Pushing Daisies. No wonder I love the show. His voice is the first one I hear every day! Although this show is absolutely fantastic, I think it’s contributing to my loneliness. I’m Olive. Totally.
Heroes will find it’s second season footing, but I’m not hating it as is, so I say, “Keep on!” Survivor gave me a moment of dread when it looked like James was doomed, only for him to come back with the Immunity Idol AND a win. Yay! Ugly Betty. Oh, Ugly Betty, you have completely redeemed yourself from the sadness of Santos with Cliff. LOVE Cliff! I want to be Mark. Seriously. SGA is still good, though I miss Elizabeth terribly.
Hobbit and Istar are doing great, and want to wish everyone a Happy Halloween!
