After watching all four seasons of Farscape and The Peacekeeper Wars, it’s over. Now, not surprisingly, I feel a little hollow inside. It would seem that it was only Season 3 that I hated so much. Once Season 4 revved up, I started to like it a little more again. I think I’m going to record my thoughts by character, rather than by season or episode.

I’m will probably return to this post to add thoughts as time goes on, but overall, this was a enjoyable series and I would like to thank bigbenalpha and di_br for encouraging me to watch it. In my defense, at least I was able to avert the trauma of the “Season 4 Ending” since I already had The Peacekeeper Wars in hand.

I’m up to Season 4 Episode 2 and OMG, this show gets exponentially worse with every.single.episode. I’m going to finish the series because, hey, I’ve come this far, but seriously, how did people get so into it?!? di_br is going to hate me for saying such, but seriously, this show is awful.

I’ll be adding specific points in a later entry. *sigh*

SGA seems to be showcasing explosions an inordinately huge amount of time. I’m hoping we can get back to the stories and away from BOOM!action. SG-1 seems to be moving back to the “Camelot” storyline and I really want to see it fleshed out. Both premieres were satisfying, but I’m expecting a lot more as the season progresses.

My patches for my Dragon*Con costume arrived! I’m going as Carter from SG-1, Jesse is going as a Browncoat, and Ben is going to trump us all with his top-secret selection. All I have to do is find a militaristic field outfit, apply patches, and GO. Whoo!

I can’t believe that SG-1 and SGA start back tonight. We’ve waited so long for their return and now it’s time. I’m sooo excited to see how the teams survive the Ori and Wraith. While I love SG-1 a little bit more, still….RONON!

So I hear from Ben that he’s going to visit me tomorrow and I’m all *YAY* about that! Narayan is still in Africa (Uganda, for now), but he’s going to come see me in a few weeks on his way to Syracuse and I’m all *YAY* about that, too!

My concern is that I haven’t seen any of my local friends in quite a while, and I’m especially concerned about my girl, Shrader. Once I get to hang out with her and my other local friend, Flo, and go to Dragon*Con with Ben and Jesse, I’ll just have had a pretty great Summer.
