I have freed myself from the torturous captor known as StatCounter. I have long held this secret affliction from you, but now I can honestly tell you I’m clean. I will no longer be a slave to my sites’ stats. I will no longer check my sites’ stats obsessively. I have decided to spend the hours I have spent doing just that by, um, smoking more Newports or something. No, that’s no good, either. I’ll figure something out this week.

Just know that I’m not cyberstalking you anymore. I’m free.

I’ve enabled Gravatar for the comments. What is Gravatar? It’s a way to add an icon to your comments on any site that enables it. I’ve seen it in use on a couple of sites, most notably The Leaky Cauldron, and decided to throw it into our mix here. It takes awhile for them to rate your icon, but once it’s rated, you can post your comment (being sure to add your email addresss–since it’s not displayed) and you’ll see your icon. I hate Spring. It’s not even here yet, but I can feel it coming. Blah. In honor of it’s coming, I’ve added an old layout to the site. As much as I would love to be around this weekend, the flu (the honest-to-pete flu, no kidding) has afflicted me. I’m sure I’ll have something to say after Rock screws up the Academy Awards, but until then, you have my Some more than others

Yet. It’s one of the best concepts we have in this world and it often leads to greatness.

So for anyone having disappointment, just remember the concept and the word. Yet.
