With all of the movie news leaking out, I’ve found myself wanting to get back to the basics. The Dursleys have been cut out entirely which is sad, but old, news. The weighing of the wands has been cut, and this means no Mr. Ollivander. That is sad news on many levels. The continuity could use a boost, especially after the dark, dank feel of POA. There are a few more script nuggets to be found at Mugglenet, if you need more.
Thanks to my perpetual stalking of Karen, I have seen the pilot episode of Lost. Oh, yes, it is as good as the hype. The commercial-free version is roughly 84 minutes long, so it looks like a 2 hour premiere is scheduled. [ETA: Upon viewing ABC's site, it seems that it may have to be a two-parter, since another premiere is scheduled for the 9:00 spot directly after Lost.] That’s a helluva lot of commercials, but I’ll be watching it again, nonetheless.
I guess a layout change might be in order. I suppose I could go back to version: Lost, but I’ll prolly just do version: Lost II. If I change at all, that is.
