Geez, what was all the fuss over Chicago?!? I just tried to watch it for the first time. Key word: TRIED. If I never have to watch Renee Z. squint all over the place, I’ll be a very happy girl. I’m so glad I didn’t pay to see it when it came out. *shudder* Thank goodness for the remote…now I can watch Gosford Park again (as if I don’t own it on DVD…heh).

I definitely didn’t see Hatch going. I wish I had watched the first Survivor now. He was a hoot. Apparently, I missed the “controversial” part. Either that, or I’m just too jaded/demented to notice…heh.

In much bigger news, I am *thisclose* to deciding where to move in June. Houston has a huge lead over the other choices and I think I would have a great tour guide *hugs sis* if I moved there.

The ads for that “Mel Gibson movie” are out. I fear the sickness that will follow.

I defy anyone to tell me that Rob (Boston Rob, The Robfather, etc.) Mariano from Survivor: All Stars isn’t one heck of a gorgeous man. I thought as much during his original season, but *whistles* wow….he has just gone off the scale of yumminess.

They have released more trailers for POA, and I feel I must state my opinion on some things.

1) I do not like the inclusion of muggle clothing.
2) I am not overly-impressed with the casting of Lupin, or even Sirius, for that matter.

I’ll go into it, of course, with an open mind, but for now I’m not too jazzed about these things.

Oh, and Harry Knowles really needs to get more bandwidth since most people can’t get connected. I miss AICN and the raging talkbacks.
